We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator (Load Planner) to join our Transportation Services team. This role is responsible for efficiently planning and coordinating the movement of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and optimizing transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. In addition, the position involves providing exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, managing expectations, and resolving any issues related to transportation. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of service. This role will focus on logistics coordination (load planning, load consolidation focused on use of FTL, scheduling, dispatching, carrier and customer communication, TMS data entry and tracking, etc.) of food distribution for an ongoing USDA program delivering food to 200+ distribution points per month utilizing direct external carrier relationships with the Henderson operation acting as the hub for the program.
