Must Have
3+ years in transportation, Proven experience in transportation planning, understanding of transportation management systems, computer skills in Microsoft Office, Analytical mindset, Detail-oriented, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
Trucking (FTL, LTL, reefer, etc. ) and 3PL brokerage preferred, Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards is a plus

Resolve issues or delays
Maintain accurate records
Evaluate strategies to improve load efficiency
Implement strategies to reduce transportation costs
Implement strategies to improve supply chain performance
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations
Ensure compliance with safety standards
Ensure compliance with McLane Global policies
Prepare reports on transportation performance
Submit reports on transportation performance
Act as primary point of contact
Provide information to Account Managers
Address delays related to shipments
Address issues related to shipments
Address delays related to deliveries

Provide proactive communication about delivery schedules
