POSITION OVERVIEW: As the Logistics and Trade Associate, you will be a crucial member of our team, leveraging your extensive knowledge and experience in global logistics. This role will encompass responsibilities related to global logistics, import and export customs, and trade compliance. In addition, the Logistics Coordinator will take ownership of various assignments that contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Facilitate the timely dispatch of goods to international and EU/UK destinations. Create trade documents, including commercial invoices, while ensuring compliance with customer requirements, including consular, legalisation, or translation activities. Secure export permits and licenses necessary for the smooth exportation of goods. Ensure import permits and licenses are for seamless importation when required. Accurately declare consignments to freight forwarders and provide necessary export and import paperwork. Coordinate customs clearance for goods in global locations, including issuing instructions for timely clearance and authorising payment or suspension of applicable duties and taxes. Manage duty and tax payments while maintaining accurate records. Collate information such as Dispatch Notes to ensure timely and precise shipment to our global customers and sister sites.
