Must Have
Analytical and problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities, Skillful with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, Ability to understand and execute time-sensitive tasks, Experience in a customer-facing position
Nice to Have
Two years of prior experience working in a Dispatcher or similar leadership role
What You'll Do.
Coordinate and oversee drivers
Ensure compliance with safety policies
Analyze daily route information
Implement changes to daily routing
Use routing system visibility
Analyze and respond to same day changes
Ensure all routes are closed on time
Evaluate and resolve problems in transit
Manage driver safety and security
and analyze logistics data
Communicate with drivers
Evaluate and escalate driver performance issues
Understand route sequencing
Respond to missed pickups
Create routes with maximized capacity
Monitor daily routing activities
Analyze trends in swing percentage
Adjust today and tomorrow’s plans
Understand daily disposal plans
Determine if service requests can be pulled forward
Perform other job-related duties
