Full Job Description

What is the job? You will support our pharmacy operation at the Winnersh site. You are responsible for making sure every medicine that leaves our pharmacy is right. That means accuracy checking dispensed medicines, keeping standards high, and actively contributing to a culture where getting it right the first time is non-negotiable. You will not be managed through every task. You will be trusted to lead, to spot problems before they become incidents, and to raise the bar for everyone around you. What will you be doing? - Carrying out accuracy checks on dispensed medicines, ensuring full compliance with legal, operational and safety standards - Taking ownership of the end-to-end dispensing process — not just your part of it - Maintaining clear, accurate prescription records and escalating discrepancies without hesitation - Actively mentoring junior colleagues and helping to build a team culture rooted in accountability, safety and quality - Staying sharp on professional development, best practice and regulatory changes — because you want to, not because you have to - Working with pace and purpose alongside the wider pharmacy team to ensure every patient gets exactly what they need, when they need it What do you need? - Level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services (ACT) or equivalent ACT qualification - Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC — no exceptions - Solid, proven experience in a pharmacy setting with a strong track record in accuracy checking - Deep working knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies and SOPs - The kind of attention to detail that you simply cannot switch off What do you get? - Hourly rate of £16 to £18 - Shifts are 8 hours per day with a 30 minute unpaid break - Shifts start times from 8am to 10am - Monday to Friday About Us Montu UK is a leading digital health company specialising in cannabis-based medicines (CBPM), dedicated to improving patient access to safe and effective treatments.
