**Location:** 4910 Tiedeman Road, Brooklyn Ohio ## Hours: **Monday- Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm** **There is a Numeric Data Entry Assessment and a Sorting Assessment as part of the onsite interview process. If a reasonable accommodation is needed, please see below on how to submit a request.** ## Job Summary The Lockbox Extractor is responsible for opening, preparing, and extracting incoming customer payment mail in a high-volume lockbox environment. This role also supports exception handling by accurately keying payment or remittance data when items cannot be processed through standard automated workflows. Attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production setting are essential to success. ## Key Responsibilities * Open and extract contents from incoming mail, including checks, remittance documents, and correspondence * Sort and batch payments and documents according to established procedures * Remove staples, paper clips, envelopes, and other obstructions to prepare items for imaging and processing * Review extracted items for completeness and accuracy * Identify and research exceptions such as missing, mismatched, damaged, or unreadable documents * Key payment and remittance data for exception items into designated systems with a high level of accuracy * Ensure keyed information aligns with source documents and meets quality standards * Escalate unresolved or non-standard exceptions per established guidelines * Meet daily production, accuracy, and quality benchmarks * Follow all security, confidentiality, and compliance requirements related to financial information * Maintain an organized work area and adhere to clean desk and mail handling policies * Collaborate with team members and leads to support workflow and operational goals ## Required Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to perform repetitive tasks and data entry for extended periods * Comfor
