Must Have
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record, Two years of consistent driving history, Able to operate a manual transmission, knowledge of local streets and routes, Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and loading heavy items, with the ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb into the truck multiple times a day, Comfortable working in various weather conditions, Good communication and interpersonal skills, Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks
What You'll Do.
Operate trash trucks to collect garbage
and yard waste on assigned routes.
Ensure the safe and efficient loading of waste materials using appropriate techniques and equipment.
Transport collected waste to designated disposal facilities.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck
ensuring it is in good working condition.
Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the fleet maintenance team promptly.
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while operating the vehicle and handling waste materials.

Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and provided.
Interact courteously with customers and the public
addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
Ensure waste collection services meet customer expectations and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of daily routes

Complete and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
