Are you a safety-conscious driver looking for a stable, full-time career with great pay, benefits, and the chance to be home every night? **Pacific Disposal** , a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a reliable and motivated Class B CDL Garbage Truck Driver to join our team in **Lacey, WA.** Previous waste industry experience is a big plus—but not required. We’re happy to train the right person! The schedule is Monday–Friday, starting between **5:00 AM and 5:30 AM** , and occasional Saturdays as needed. You’ll average about 45 hours per week (overtime eligible) and be home every night! The starting pay **$33.96/hour** with annual pay increases and bonus opportunities. **Duties and Responsibilities:** * Safely operate a garbage truck on designated routes to collect solid waste. Waste experience is preferred but not required. * Read route sheets and service each customer listed or assigned by the dispatcher. * Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires. * Perform a physically demanding job, including loading and unloading, sometimes without assistance. * Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities. * Interact courteously with customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. * Working Conditions and Physical Effort: * Requires extensive physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds. * Work environment involves exposure to physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts, requiring basic safety precautions. * Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including frequent wet and/or humid environments, as well as fumes and vibrations. **Minimum Job Requirements:** * Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement * Clean driving record (please bring a copy of your MVR to the in-person interview) * Ability to operate 10-, 13-, and 18-speed transmissions (preferred, not required) * Min
