Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions, May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE), May be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels, Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays, Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1+ years of experience, heavy equipment operations experience, some automotive background, basic technology competence (scan gun, tablet/phone applications), good oral and written communication skills, ability to stay calm, cool and collected in a high-pressure fast-paced work environment, smooth operator and work well with others
Nice to Have
High School Diploma/GED, Previous heavy equipment operation, some computer skills, general maintenance, understanding of mechanical equipment, understanding of automotive components and disassembly, Experience in rigging/lifting operations a plus
What You'll Do.
Operate equipment safely and responsibly
Maintain facility grounds and perform snow removal
Ensure compliance with regulations
Support dismantling and yard operations
Update inventory system using scan gun and tablet/phone
Fulfill daily work orders
Communicate written and verbally with management and team members
Perform pre-operational inspections
Check fluids and lubricate equipment
Prioritize and plan workload
Unload car haulers and stage cars
Remove snow and spread stone
Assist with regulation compliance and quality assurance
Process and crush vehicles
Maintain location accuracy and integrity of vehicles
Perform tasks assigned by dispatch
Communicate delays and problems promptly
