Must Have
3+ years of technical support experience, Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems, Experience in development or technical support, Knowledge of SVOD or OTT video services, Experience supporting microservices architecture, Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues
Nice to Have
Knowledge of web services, Knowledge of distributed systems, Knowledge of web application development, Experience working with device technologies, Familiarity with flashing firmware, Basic device debugging, Familiarity with reading/pulling device logs, Experience with video encoding, Experience with streaming media standards, Experience of a live streaming environment, Experience of a live production environment, Exposure to video encoding, Exposure to signal acquisition, Experience working in live sports
What You'll Do.
Deliver live sports and music events
Perform pre-event checks
Triage audio/video issues
Own support activities for services
Work with development teams
Establish service support
Improve service support
Operate with limited guidance
Drive issues to resolution
Aid in development of operational tools
Aid in testing of operational tools
Improve efficiency through automation
Contribute to creation of support documentation
Contribute to improvement of support documentation
Assist in training new staff
Assist in development of new staff
Create metrics that measure support success
Create metrics that measure service performance
Interpret metrics that measure support success
Interpret metrics that measure service performance
Prep monitoring for linear stations
Test incoming feeds for live events
Prevent disruption to customers
Collate relevant data points
Communicate data points to stakeholders
Identify opportunities to improve operator efficiency
