Proven track record of delivering results in player engagement on market leading products, preferably RPG or collection RPG titles, Experience with A testing initiatives to maximize feature KPIs, Excellent interpersonal skills, Outstanding written/oral, organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail, understanding of player motivations, retention systems, reward psychology, and event-driven engagement loops, with a passion for creating fun, compelling and addictive user experiences, Self sufficient, resourceful, and keen on operational efficiency with limited resources, Goals driven and has an understanding of mobile KPI metrics, preferably on collection RPGs, and how to improve KPIs through Live Ops strategies, communication skills to be able to coordinate effectively with partner teams such as Product, Design, Analytics, Community, Customer Experience, Marketing, Art, and QA teams

Nice to Have

excel / spreadsheet familiarity with analytics and Live Ops tooling via schema tables is a plus, BAS degree preferred

Scopely is looking for a Live Ops Manager to help launch and manage a soon-to-be announced AAA game. The candidate will help champion the game’s Live Ops execution to deliver best-in-class consumer experiences that are addictive, appealing and inherently social. In this role, the Live Ops Manager will work closely with embedded Data Analysts, PMs, Game Designers, Economy Designers, and Live Ops Artists to create outstanding game experiences that optimize franchise retention and player engagement metrics. The ideal candidate embraces a team-first mentality, is flexible, highly motivated, and approachable, with excellent communication skills acquired through experience in the gaming industry. You are a self-motivated team player who is passionate about delivering flawless and exciting content in game and is prepared to roll up your sleeves and work with team members around the world. Responsibilities / Role: Execute on the Live Operations strategy and events for an RPG product, with a focus on player engagement, retention, session frequency, and long-term player satisfaction Deliver on a complete Live Ops content calendar, including events, seasonal content, community activations, and engagement-driving features for a new game title Actively provide suggestions for tools requirements and improvements resulting in Live Ops efficiencies and effectiveness Work closely with Economy Designers, to determine and tune content, rewards, event incentives, and player motivations while maintaining a healthy game economy Collaborate cross-functionally with Game Design, Product, Analytics, Community, Customer Relations, QA, Art, and Engineering teams to achieve Scopely goals (e.g., economy tuning, live ops design, maintenance) and ensure engaging new content and events are delivered to the highest quality Work closely with the Analytics team to perform extensive game performance reviews, A/B tests, cohort trends, engagement funnels, and identify areas of opportunity to improve rete
