What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree and paralegal certification (or equivalent experience), Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, at least 2 years in a corporate legal department or law firm supporting corporate clients, knowledge of the litigation lifecycle, discovery obligations, and court procedures (state and federal), Significant experience in responding to subpoenas and record requests, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Excellent organizational, analytical, and written communication skills, Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy, interpersonal skills, including optimism, diplomacy and flexibility, ability to interface effectively with personnel at many different levels throughout the company, Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
Nice to Have
Prior experience supporting litigation matters in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or broader life sciences industry, Familiarity with FDA regulations, product liability defense, and cross-border litigation, Experience coordinating responses to government inquiries and regulatory investigations
