Overview: Our team is growing! We are seeing an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal who has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all phases of case workups including pre-litigation and litigation. Successful candidates will be proficient in legal software, have excellent communication skills and have a knack for time management. This is a full-time position that will be onsite in one of our main office locations. We are in-office 5 days a week, Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm. Responsibilities Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, appellate documents and legal memoranda. E-file court documents in both state and federal courts. Communicate effectively with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders. Conduct legal research and factual investigations. Prepare discovery documents, including interrogatories and responses. Draft and serve summons. Coordinate and schedule depositions. Work with legal assistant to prepare trial binders and exhibits. Organize, maintain and manage indexes for pleadings, discovery, exhibits, evidence, briefs and appendices. Support attorney with all requests. Act as liaison between experts, defense attorneys and vendors. Assist with witness preparation. Provide support in case settlements. Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet the business needs.
