Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions, Stationary Position – Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time, Move or Traverse – This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc., May occasionally ascends/descends the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria and parking area, Dexterity – constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine/printer, Move, Transport, Position, Put, Install, Remove - Occasionally moves supplies weighing up to 10 pounds for various presentation and event needs, Ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school, Current member and in good standing of the Illinois Bar, Minimum of 3 years of Personal Injury litigation experience, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis, Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide effective solutions, Attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice to Have
Trial experience preferred, Commercial case experience a plus, Experiencing litigating trucking and other commercial motor vehicle cases a plus, Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
What You'll Do.
Handle and manage Personal Injury files from file through trial
Work up litigation files from filing the lawsuit
writing discovery and depositions
Regularly interact with clients
staff and other lawyers
Lead a litigation team of 5 plus people
Litigate a case from beginning to end
Handle cases involving commercial motor vehicles
How You'll Work.

Successfully lead a litigation team of 5 plus people; Experience in supervising and managing other team members; Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
Communication Scope
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
