What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of computers and communication security, networking, and the vulnerabilities of modern operating systems and applications, At least five years of experience designing, developing and managing Linux based environment, in particular RHEL based, At least five years of experience managing containerised applications in orchestrated and non-orchestrated environments, Proven experience in host management scripts development, using bash/sed/awk and/or Python, Proven experience in development and management of automation solutions such as Ansible, including playbooks development, Hands-on experience in security compliancy checks of Linux-based systems, Experience in creating and maintaining version-controlled system documentation

Nice to Have

Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, IT Trainer Certification (such as RHCI, CompTIA CTT+, MCT, CCSI, etc.)

What You'll Do.

Provisioning and hardening of RHEL as the underlying host OS

aligned with NCIA security guidelines

Deployment and configuration of the approved Container Orchestration Platform and Container Management Platform

Provide support for developers for Red Hat UBI and application components in application of NCIA security guidelines

Delivery of "As-Built" documentation using provided template

Development and deployment of centralized patching infrastructure for RHEL host OS

Create a training package in PowerPoint format

that describes deployment and administration procedures of RHEL hosts

Create technical procedures (SOP - Standard Operating Procedures) and instruction (SOI - Standard Operating Instructions) for administrative activities and maintenance tasks

Execute on-the-job training sessions according to approved training package

according to installation manual

NUCOM/NNGEM application for each site

Deploy NUCOM/NNGEM updates according to provided schedule (3 updates a year – one update every four months)

Manage issues registered by users

Resolve incidents up to Level 2 support expertise

Escalate incident if needed to Level 3 support

Review and provide constructive feedback on: Hardening procedures (Security Guidelines)

Containers management/orchestration procedures

Backup/restore procedures

NNGEM installation manual
