We are driven by NXP’s core values: raising the bar, engaging curiosity, taking initiative, working together, and developing deep core competence. **Your responsibilities** * Integrate new i.MX devices in Linux BSP, ensuring high quality release deliverables. * Maintain existing i.MX products within NXP’s Linux software evolution strategy. * Develop, design and maintain Linux kernel drivers for VPU and multimedia subsystems on i.MX platforms. * Contribute upstream to the broader Linux community (Linux kernel, V4L2, GStreamer). **Your Skills** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar disciplines. * 5+ years of software development experience with embedded systems. * Experience in embedded firmware development. * Experience with Linux kernel development. Would be a plus: * Hands on experience with multimedia frameworks (V4L2, GStreamer, FFmpeg). * Understanding of video codecs including H.264, H.265. * Experience with ARM-based systems hardware bring-up and low-level debugging. * Open source communities and contributions to the
