What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor Degree in Production or Operations Management, Business, or other related discipline, 2+ year experience supervising/leading people and processes in a manufacturing production environment, experience analyzing data and looking for trends, knowledge of informational systems & ability to analyze data
Nice to Have
significant understanding of Flow Manufacturing concepts that use Continuous Improvement and Kaizen events
What You'll Do.
Manage total operation of the line
Maximize production performance within parameters
Facilitate team culture across disciplines
Implement and refine improvement ideas
Align resources in plant's personnel
Reinforce positive team efforts
Motivate generation of ideas
Define initiatives and operations goals
Develop technical specialized skills
Develop multidisciplinary knowledge
Ensure local and contractual agreements are followed
Responsible for all audit compliance
Ensure correct use of safety equipment
Works with shift foremen
Assist in developing personnel
Define shop expectations
Deploy metrics and management routines
Act as a change agent
Ensure through audits that tools are used
Ensure lean principles are considered
Serve as a business change agent
Lead process improvement initiatives
Implement continuous improvement-lean manufacturing practices

Facilitate a team culture across all functional and cross functional disciplines; Motivates the generation of ideas and initiates by discussing them on multi-disciplinary teams; Works with shift foremen to have consistency on all shifts; Develops multidisciplinary knowledge and skills, and awareness of customer oriented common goals and achievements
