LINE COOK The Opportunity UHP is seeking a Line Cook to help fuel the daily experience of our students and staff through quality meals and consistent execution. This role prepares and serves nutrient-dense meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards around food quality, safety, and service. You won’t just be cooking meals — you’ll be supporting the physical and mental performance of the individuals we serve. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Cooking - Prepare and cook meals following recipes, portion standards, and nutritional guidelines - Execute cooking techniques including grilling, roasting, steaming, sautéing, and baking - Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of meals Kitchen Operations - Set up, maintain, and break down kitchen stations - Maintain clean, organized workspaces and equipment - Support meal service in a high-volume dining environment Food Safety & Compliance - Follow food safety, sanitation, and health standards - Maintain awareness of cross-contamination and dietary restrictions, including allergens and modified meal requests - Assist with routine kitchen cleaning and upkeep Qualifications & Experience Required Qualifications - 1+ year of line cook, prep cook, or related kitchen experience preferred - Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices - Ability
