What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement, 1+ years of experience in Electrical including but not limited to Electrical Systems design, Wire Design, Electrical Equipment Installation and Wire Installation Design, Electrical Lighting Systems

Nice to Have

3 or more years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc. ) (Level 3), Experience with aircraft wiring diagrams and system schematics, 1+ years of Electrical Lighting Systems experience, 1+ years of leadership or project management experience, 1+ years of experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD), utilizing model-based definition, preferably on Unigraphics Nx

What You'll Do.

Develops understanding/knowledge of Electrical Lighting System

Assumes cognizant engineering responsibilities for some Electrical Lighting System subsystems

Reads wiring diagrams

Supports analysis and design reviews

Follows documented processes

specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities

Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection

Supports the sustainment

and documentation of aircraft systems

primarily electrical and electro-mechanical system design

Performs root cause analysis for field issues

provides corrective actions

and communicates with USAF customer (including presentations)

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

work with senior engineer; interacting directly with USAF customer, Field Engineers, and C-17 aircraft; communicates with USAF customer (including presentations)
