WHAT'S THE JOB? Job Purpose : A Custodial Associate (LD Cleaner) is generally responsible for daily cleaning tasks in designated areas of the terminal or facility. This includes dusting, wiping, litter pick up, mopping, sweeping, washroom cleaning, emptying garbage containers and vacuuming as required. This is a 3-month contract position with the potential for full-time employment. Available shifts include Days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) and Afternoons (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). The starting pay rate is $19.83/hour, with a $1.00 wage increase effective July 1, 2026. Main Duties and Responsibilities: * Wipes ledges and windowsills * Wipes and polishes office furniture * Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches and doors * Cleans and polishes chrome and stainless steel * Cleans partition glass and facility pillars/posts that are within arm’s reach * Wipes and disinfects telephones * Spot clean glass entrance doors and glass partitions * Clean locker rooms and tenant areas as required * Cleans and disinfects washrooms including, toilets, urinals, counters, sinks, mirrors, partition frames, dispensers, baseboards and floors. * Restocks washroom dispensers containing hand soap, paper towels and toilet tissue * Empty and remove waste container from the washrooms, lounges and general garbage containers within the facility * Dusts baseboards and low air vents * Sweeps stairwells and spot mops steps as required * Responsible for completing pre-checks prior to using
