What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Qualified licensed or certified recreation specialist, Minimum of two years’ experience in a social or recreation program within the last five years, One year of which was full-time in a Life Enrichment program within a health care setting
Nice to Have
Certified or obtain certification within the first year of employment
What You'll Do.
and direct Life Enrichment program
Develop and maintain life enrichment calendars
Promote ongoing delivery of life enrichment programs
Develop and maintain volunteer program
Participate in Interdisciplinary team meetings
Participate in RAI/Care Plan process
Coordinate life enrichment activities with other departments
Establish and maintain inter-departmental communication
Comply with departmental financial plan
Maintain appropriate supplies and equipment
Organize and implement Life Enrichment department guidelines
Serve as facility liaison for community initiatives
Promote image and reputation of System
Contribute to committees and workgroups
Perform other duties as necessary
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Active participant in the Interdisciplinary team (IDT); Attending and participating in designated staff, leadership, and committee meetings; Attending and participating in resident care conferences; Coordinates delivery of life enrichment activities with other departments; Establishes and maintains effective inter-departmental communication; Contributes to the work of committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts

Ability to read and interpret documents; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; Ability to speak effectively before groups
