What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)., If assigned transport (driving) responsibilities, must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet the organization’s motor vehicle record and insurance eligibility requirements.
Nice to Have
Prior experience as an Activity Aide in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Intermediate Care Facility (ICF), or Assisted Living Facility (ALF) is strongly preferred., Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) or patient documentation systems is preferred.
What You'll Do.
Lead engaging group events
ranging from fitness and games to music and arts
Lead stimulating individual cognitive and memory retention activities for our long-term residents
Maintain accurate documentation in PointClickCare (EMR system)
Collaborate with our health care teams to individualize your approach
You may be asked to drive and/or escort residents to off-site events
appointments or activities utilizing our facility van
