**Licensed Veterinary Technician (Part-Time)** **Location** : East Bullitt Animal Clinic, Mt. Washington, Kentucky Join our dedicated team at East Bullitt Animal Clinic in Mt. Washington, KY, where we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets in our community. This role has the opportunity to move into full-time hours in the future. **What You’ll Be Doing:** As a **Licensed Veterinary Technician** , your duties will include: * Assisting veterinarians during patient exams, treatments, and surgeries. * Administering medications, vaccinations, and therapeutic treatments. * Performing diagnostic tests, including radiography, blood work, and urinalysis. * Monitoring anesthesia and providing post-operative care. * Conducting dental cleanings and using digital dental radiography. * Educating clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and post-care instructions. * Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean, organized clinic environment. **What We're Looking For:** * **Experience** : 1+ year or more of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) * **Skills** : Strong diagnostic, technical, and communication abilities. * **Mindset** : A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care. * **Physical Ability:** Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. **Compensation, Perks & More** * **$18- $22/h** r - depending on experience! * **Professional Growth:** Opportunities for skill development and continuing education * **Supportive Team:** Join a collaborative, welcoming group dedicated to patient and client care. * **PTO**
