As a School Counselor at Rivermont School, you will play a vital role in supporting students’ emotional wellness, behavioral growth, and academic success. In this role, you will partner with educators, families, and clinical teams to create a safe, supportive environment where students can thrive. Your work will directly impact students with diverse learning, emotional, and behavioral needs through compassionate care, collaboration, and evidence-based therapeutic support. What You'll Need - Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or family development - Active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license or eligibility for licensure - Active Mandt certification - Strong knowledge of child and adolescent development, behavioral health, and therapeutic interventions - Clinical experience supporting children and adolescents in educational or behavioral health settings What You'll Do - Organize caregiver and family participation activities to strengthen student support and engagement - Provide individual and group therapy services based on student needs and treatment goals - Oversee PBIS planning, facilitate meetings, and provide guidance to classroom staff on behavior support strategies - Collaborate with families, schools, and outside agencies to improve the quality of care and student outcomes - Complete student assessments within thirty days of enrollment and coordinate tele-psychiatry service as needed Why You’ll Love Working Here - Enjoy both paid time off and extra paid school breaks (for select roles), plus paid holidays - Wellness perks including gym discounts, mindfulness apps, and prescription savings - Tuition reimbursement, career development programs, and leadership train
