What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN), Current appropriate State licensure, Successfully complete CPR Certification, Must complete the Nurses Technical Training Program
Nice to Have
One year medical-surgical nursing experience, Hemodialysis experience, ICU experience
What You'll Do.
Provide direct patient care
Perform technical aspects of dialysis procedures
Administer and monitor treatments
Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters
Document patient care information
Report significant information to supervisor
Educate patient and family regarding ESRD
Assist with emergency operational procedures
Administer intravenous medication
Perform and document pre
Initiate basic CPR measures
Respond to emergency situations
Operate all dialysis related equipment
Provide minor troubleshooting
safe and sanitary environment
Address blood spills according to policy
Operate all emergency equipment
Participate in staff meetings
Assist in patient care plan meetings
Acquire knowledge in dialysis principals
Act as a resource person for staff
Assist with coordination of care plan
