Must complete DCSD required training for new library staff ESSENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: \- Mostly clean and comfortable; some noise ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: \- Ability to bend and lift up to 40 lbs \- Frequent sitting & standing ## Position Specific Information (if Applicable): ## Responsibilities: Perform other library related duties as assigned or requested Assist with the supervision, management, instruction, and activities in the Library Media Center Attend District trainings pertaining to the library: Destiny, databases and digital resources, collection development, weeding, purchasing, etc. Loan library materials such as books, textbooks, and other resources to students, staff, and other DCSD school patrons Process returned materials such as books, textbooks, and other resources Organize and reshelve returned items Manage loans between DCSD school libraries (ILL loans) Maintain and repair library materials Manage and catalog materials using resource management software (Destiny) Follow the DCSD media policy and board policies pertaining to
