Must Have
Master’s degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited school, Knowledge of current library practices and technologies, Good computer and organizational Ability, Ability to complete assigned projects in a timely manner, Good verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials, Night and weekend work is required
What You'll Do.
Assist patrons in selecting materials
Meet informational needs
Search online catalog
Answer complex patron inquiries
Direct assigned staff
Oversee activities in a branch library
Keep statistical records
Prepare appropriate reports
Provide guidance to staff
Arrange displays and bibliographies
Represent the library system
Plan and conduct tours
Plan and conduct programs
Instruct and train new employees
Review work of other employees
Recommend materials for selection
Assist with story time
Assist with Summer Reading Club
Assist with outreach programs
Participate in emergency management activities
