Must Have
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U. S. state bar., Minimum of 3 years of in-house legal experience, preferably within financial services (e. g. , fund administration, investment management, banking, or broker-dealer environments)., Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating commercial contracts, with a proven track record of successfully managing contract negotiations and related transactions, including agreements involving: Confidentiality, Liability and indemnification, Information technology and intellectual property, Data security and privacy, judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work independently with confidence and initiative., Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization., organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment., Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Nice to Have
Familiarity with AI tools and technologies is a plus.
What You'll Do.
reviewing and negotiating a wide range of legal agreements
including services agreements
novation and assignments
settlements and releases
data privacy agreements and other transactional documents.
Advising on legal obligations arising in connection with services contracts
as well as the review and resolution of legal-related issues and questions that arise with respect to the provision of fund administration services
including anti-money laundering (AML) regulations
jurisdiction specific regulations
securities and investment advisory laws.
Provide strategic counsel on commercial
and corporate matters
contribute to process and template improvements
and build relationships across the organization.
