What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Qualified solicitor 4 – 10 years PQE, Solid understanding of and experience in securitisation (including related regulatory frameworks) and other structured finance transactions, understanding of capital markets (including knowledge of applicable securities laws and regulations), Good knowledge and understanding of the regulatory framework applicable to UK financial services, industry trends and best practice, Experience working as part of a transactional environment (either in private practice or in house), Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, Reputable commercial, pragmatic and enthusiastic approach in undertaking tasks, Commercially minded with an ability to adapt to a varied workload, Right to work in the UK
Nice to Have
Knowledge of derivatives is a bonus, Numeracy skills with good experience of Excel and PowerPoint
What You'll Do.
Provide legal advice and support to CFO Division
negotiation and execution of structured finance transactions
review and negotiation of documentation
Monitoring legal and regulatory developments
Engaging with/instructing external counsel
Liaising with key transaction parties
Reviewing and developing internal standard documents
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Working with the business on structuring and documentation; Participating in internal and external working groups; Acting as the primary legal contact for key transaction parties
