What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Good understanding of the law, contracts and commercial practices as relevant for KONE’s business operation, Critical thinking and good problem-solving abilities, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to provide practical and commercially minded advice, 3–8 years of legal experience with a multinational corporation and/or reputable law firm, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, Commercially minded with sound judgment, integrity, and a continuous-improvement approach, Culturally adaptable with high emotional intelligence in global working environments, Able to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Experience working in fast-paced, globally dispersed and cross-functional environments, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure, Proactive and self-driven, with judgment and the ability to navigate multiple demands with minimal supervision, command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken

Nice to Have

Experience in CIPAA adjudication, construction disputes, contract administration, and infrastructure or engineering-related matters, Admission to the Malaysian Bar, Proficiency in additional languages

What You'll Do.

Provide legal advice and support

drafts and negotiates contracts

develop and implement contract templates

implements and updates legal policies

Manage and support resolution of legal disputes

Ensures shareholders’ meetings

board meetings are timely done

Represents the company before judicial tribunals

Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks

Build and maintain working relationships

Collaborates with business stakeholders

Conduct training and provide guidance
