Must Have

Doctorate or PhD in a relevant field, Experience in teaching and learning, as evidenced by participation in team teaching and teaching in a variety of settings, and demonstrated success in designing, implementing and evaluating teaching and learning initiatives, Ability to communicate effectively to a diverse cadre of students and staff, Experience in conducting original research and/or engaging in scholarly activity, Outstanding skills in research, critical thinking and decision making, planning and organisation, and delivering presentations effectively, A developing network of relationships with key academic, industry and professional institutions, partners and stakeholders, Excellent collegiality across teaching and research, Unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment

What You'll Do.

Undertake independent teaching in neuroscience

contributing to outstanding educational design

evaluation and outcomes

Engage in high-quality teaching and learning experiences which meet the University’s expectations and standards for education

Design and deliver quality educational units of study and experiences that support student needs and meet curriculum requirements

Contribute to the design and delivery of multi-disciplinary work-integrated learning units and content

Engage in supervision of research students at undergraduate level

in accordance with the requirements and expectations of the School/ Faculty/ University

Contribute to a positive workplace culture in which diversity of thought

excellence and achieving outcomes are valued and enabled

Undertake other duties appropriate within the classification level as required
