Full Job Description
**[What the role is]** As a Lecturer, your contributions go beyond teaching and facilitating learning. You will play a critical role in recognizing and nurturing your students’ potential and supporting their lifelong learning needs. **[What you will be working on]** In addition to your teaching duties, you will carry out industry or consultancy projects to remain current in your profession and keep pace with evolving industry needs. You will maintain strong linkages with industry partners and schools, and may undertake industry attachments regularly to update your skills, knowledge and professional practices. You will also guide learners in applying current infrastructure practices (e.g. automation, hybrid environments, operational monitoring) through authentic lab work, capstone projects, and applied learning activities. **[What we are looking for]** You should be trained in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Technology, with at least **3 years of relevant experience** in related industry. You should possess relevant knowledge and working experience in at least two of the following: * Networking concepts such as routers, switches, network automation and wireless technologies (e.g., 5G, Wi‑Fi 6) * Operating systems such as Windows Servers and Linux * Infrastructure automation and scripting (e.g., Python), including use of APIs and tooling for operational efficiency * Virtualization and cloud technologies such as AWS/Azure/VMware and open-source platforms * Software development in web/mobile applications and/or RPA * Data/AI‑enabled operations (e.g., applying analytics/AI techniques to improve infrastructure performance) * Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP; AWS/Azure cloud fundamentals or equivalent) You should possess: * Passion and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with youths * Good communication and interpersonal skills Those with good and relevant experience can look forward to Senior Lecturer or equivalent positions
