Full Job Description
**[What the role is]** This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer in the School of Engineering. **[What you will be working on]** _Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:_ * Contributing to curriculum development, facilitating student learning, conducting assessments, and performing teaching-related duties for modules in Electronic and Computer Engineering, with a focus on embedded systems, programming, computer systems and infrastructure (networking, cloud, Linux, and cybersecurity), microelectronics, and artificial intelligence * Identifying and spearheading opportunities for industry collaboration and partnership * Participating in industry or consultancy projects to maintain professional relevance and industry alignment * Supporting student development and growth in their educational journey **[What we are looking for]** * A relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Microelectronics, with at least 5 years of industry experience in areas such as product design/development/manufacturing, systems engineering, network/cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity * A passion for education and a strong commitment to nurturing, teaching, mentoring, and engaging with students * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively * A self-driven and independent working style, coupled with strong collaborative abilities and a team-oriented mindset
