## Overview: * **Full-time, Continuing position** * **Salary Academic Level B ($115,303 - $136,925) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements** * **Based at the Melbourne CBD campus** **About the Role** The Lecturer (Architecture Digital Communications) is expected to contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the Architecture discipline. The Lecturer will prepare, coordinate and teach specialist courses relating to digital communications and representation in architecture. The lecturer will also be required to deliver courses in architectural design, and other course areas, and contribute to the design culture broadly within the School and the University. The Lecturer is also expected to actively promote the program by establishing and maintaining memberships, links and partnerships with academic, industry and professional communities. The Lecturer is expected to work collaboratively and collegially with fellow academics within the teaching team, and update colleagues and students on developments in their subject area or specialisation. The Lecturer will be required to teach and conduct classes in disciplines relevant to their field of expertise and assist in the academic and administrative, consultative and coordination tasks involved with these courses. Functions associated with the position include the delivery of lectures, tutorials, learning activities, assessments, and course administration in line with the University’s policies, processes, and quality assurance requirements. The Lecturer is also required to undertake design practice research activities in line with the University’s research strategy.
