Must Have
Minimum 5 years of U. S. leave management experience, Advanced knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and state/local regulations, Minimum 2 years of hands-on Workday experience, specifically managing Leave of Absence (LOA) and Benefits/Life Insurance modules, Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency, Highly skilled in VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, or Index/Match, Proven ability to clean and analyze large datasets, Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, employment law, compliance or equivalent work related experience
Nice to Have
Proficiency in Google Suite, Openness to leveraging AI tools (e.g., Gemini), Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows, or possess the agility and "growth mindset" to rapidly master new AI technologies, Professional certification in Disability Management or Benefits (CEBS)
What You'll Do.
Manage LOA and accommodation requests
Advise on eligibility
Oversee life insurance processes
Manage Evidence of Insurability events
Audit beneficiary/coverage data
Ensure accurate transmissions to carriers
Provide hands-on support
Handle escalation cases
Support projects focused on LOA and Life Insurance technology
Provide input on accommodation suggestions
Ensure ADA and regulatory compliance
Reconcile Life Insurance census
Audit COBRA termination
Manage return-to-work processes
Support corrective action
Lead leave/benefit projects
Roll out new time-off programs
