Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s Degree, minimum of two years leasing experience with multi-family properties, additional property management software (Yardi/One Site)

What You'll Do.

Greet prospects and qualify

Record all telephone and in-person visits

Inspect models and available units

Demonstrate community and apartment features

Secure deposit and process applications

Update availability report

Submit applications for approval

Follow up with applicant regarding status

Ensure apartment is ready for move-in

Follow up on prospects that did not close

Refer prospects to sister communities

Secure new resident’s signature

Orient new residents to community

Assist in monitoring renewals

Distribute and follow-up on renewal notices

Monitor advertising effectiveness

Gather information about market competition

Represent the company professionally

Accept rental payments

Type lease and complete paperwork

Input information on Yardi System

Maintain current resident files

Record daily inspections

Distribute company or community notices

Maintain accurate monthly commission records

Assist management team with tasks

Implement policies of the community

Receive all telephone calls

Listen to resident requests

Complete maintenance Service Request

Answer resident questions

Follow up on resident matters

Ensure maintenance repairs handled satisfactorily

Maintain open communication

Contribute to cleanliness and curb appeal

Assist in planning resident functions

Attend functions and participate as host

Participate in outreach marketing activities

Advise residents of referral concessions

Assist in placing banners

Distribute newsletters

Conduct market surveys

Shop competitive communities
