Full Job Description

We are currently hiring a Leasing Agent to support our residential properties in Kitchener and Waterloo. We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented individual to guide prospective tenants through the leasing journey. This role involves connecting with inquiries, conducting unit showings, presenting available suites, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience from first contact to lease completion. The successful candidate will be approachable, organized, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain targeted occupancy levels by applying experienced closing techniques * Advertise and market available rental properties through online listings, social media, and local outreach * Promptly respond to inquiries via phone and email * Schedule and conduct property tours for prospective tenants * Screen applicants (credit checks, background checks, rental history verification) * Negotiate lease terms and rental rates when applicable * Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and application documents * Collaborate with Property Management team to ensure properties are clean, presentable, and ready for showing * Stay informed about local rental market trends and pricing * Provide exceptional customer service with follow up programs associated to new rental applications, and incoming service for new residents * Maintain a deep understanding of product knowledge, following leasing process and RTA polices * Assist with completing daily, weekly, monthly, and special reports as needed * Provide support in monthly audits to ensure leasing and operational success * Other duties as assigned **Requirements** * Previous experience in leasing, real estate, sales, or customer service is an asset * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Strong knowledge of property management and leasing laws * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software * Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment #I
