Full Job Description
Amazon India Operations Talent Development team is seeking a Program Lead for managing the lifecycle of of a high-scale and complex program that meets challenging business goals and shows measurable improvements in employee experience. Key job responsibilities Dealing with Ambiguity: Trusted to operate independently and are often assigned to focus on areas where the business problem and/or strategy has not yet been clearly defined. Project Management: Develop project plans that have clear milestones, realistic deadlines, and measurable success criteria. Proactively identify risks and bring them to the attention of stakeholders with plans for mitigation before they become roadblocks. Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a complex, fast-paced environment. Problem Solving: Understand the limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions of hard problems, acquiring expertise as needed. Decompose complex business problems and inefficiencies into straightforward and efficient solutions. Data Driven- Strong analytical and deep dive skills. Perform root cause/quantitative analysis/hypothesis testing. Back arguments/conclusion/decisions with relevant and significant data. Product Development: Work backward from customer, prototype and innovate, simplify and scale new solutions. Stakeholder Management: Influence without authority to decouple from dependencies and eliminate problems that stifle innovation or cause user dissatisfaction. Resolve contentious issues, harmonize discordant views, generate constructive debates, and arrive at decisions/consensus. Demonstrate good judgment in how and when to escalate. Change Management: Create the correct sense of urgency for delivery. Build constituency and advocacy to navigate through change. Execution Excellence: Works on tactical and strategic aspects.
