What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A degree or certificate in Human Resource, Business Administration, Instructional Design, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, A minimum of five years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or talent development, Experience with graphic and video creation hardware and software editing tools (Adobe) and eLearning development software (Articulate) platforms, which support the creation of training content, and facilitating sessions, Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and learning technologies, Communication, project coordination, and collaboration skills are essential, Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Visio), Experience operating Learning Management Systems and/or other training databases, Analytical, organizational, and time management skills, Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
Exposure to corporate or manufacturing environments is a plus, Experience with Workday Learning would be an asset, Experience creating and/or maintaining SharePoint/MS Teams sites, Experience authoring online learning and performance support resources and tools (ie. Video cameras, graphic editing software – Adobe, eLearning development software (Articulate), Survey Monkey)

POSITION DESCRIPTION: This is a tactical and supportive Human Resources (HR) role that designs and delivers learning solutions to build employee capability and enhance organizational performance. The Specialist collaborates with subject matter experts to translate content into impactful training, develops materials, and evaluates outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business goals.
