What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical/Thermal Engineering, 8+ years total experience in product design (Server, Networking switch), Proven experience in the thermal management of high-power ASICs and advanced packaging, Specific exposure to CPO or Silicon Photonics, 3+ years of specific experience in rack-scale thermal design, Hands-on experience with heat pipes, vapor chambers, fans, and liquid cooling components, Proficiency in CFD simulation and 3D modeling software, Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written), Technical leadership capabilities, 12+ years total experience in product design (Server, Networking switch), 5+ years specifically in rack-level or datacenter liquid cooling, Deep understanding of rack-level systems: CDU operation, flow balancing, redundancy, and serviceability, Advanced proficiency in FloTherm, Macroflow, or equivalent for CFD analysis, Expertise in 3D CAD (Creo or SolidWorks)

What You'll Do.
Execute thermal design and simulation for high-speed networking components
Focus on Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) and ASIC-optics integration within high power density environments
Lead the end-to-end development of thermal solutions
Design thermal components using 3D CAD
and acoustic validation
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for flow or thermal issues and implement corrective designs
Define and support thermal architecture for high-speed networking systems
Own the rack-level liquid cooling architecture
Influence the integration of thermal strategy into the overall system architecture
Identify and evaluate new technologies
and outsourced partner relationships
Use CFD tools to drive optimized thermal solutions
Define rack-level validation strategies
Lead thermal development activities
Provide design guidance and methodologies to less-experienced staff members
