What You'll Do.
Develop and implement curriculum plans providing age-appropriate instruction and supervision for the individual child or group of children.
Interact with children at all times in a nurturing and developmentally appropriate way
while encouraging self-help.
Assure the supervision and safety of children including the enforcement of child release policies.
Perform child observation
child assessment and timely records keeping.
Interact with families in a respectful and nonjudgmental manner.
Work with Agency personnel and community agencies to address the individual needs of children and families.
Promote and model developmentally appropriate practices
good hygiene and nutrition.
Adhere to all program and agency policies.

The Associate Teacher is an active member of the childcare center and partners with Associate Teachers, and other staff, on the academic, social-emotional growth and development of all children in their care. Lead Teachers will develop partnerships with parents/children’s caregivers to engage and encourage family participation in the program. Working at Easterseals New Hampshire’s ECCEs is an exciting opportunity, as we are committed to providing high-quality, integrated child development services to children of all abilities.
