What They're Looking For.
Must Have
MSc or BSc in Engineering, Physics, or Biotechnology, or equivalent knowledge and experience, Experience in system-level engineering, including requirements breakdown, interface management, and cross-functional technical coordination, Documented experience working with engineering change processes (ECR/ECO) and are comfortable assessing risks, impacts, and regulatory implications, Analytical and structured, with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive data-based decisions, Previous experience in product or process development with a technical interest, Proficient in English, written and spoken
Nice to Have
Swedish language skills, Self-starter—energized and results-oriented and a problem solver, Technical leadership by guiding others, making informed decisions, and securing alignment without formal personnel responsibility
What You'll Do.
Act as technical owner for assigned Custom Engineering predefined and configurable products
and regulatory compliance throughout the lifecycle
Ensure high-quality documentation and traceability in accordance with Cytiva
and regulatory requirements
Be part of the Change Control Board (CCB) core team and responsible for activities associated with change requests and change orders (ECR/ECO) for existing predefined and configurable product offerings
Performing investigations
and implementing approved changes
Be engaged in all phases of lifecycle management and sustaining engineering
Be involved in standardization activities for Custom Engineering products
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Functional, Mechanical, Automation, and Electrical design, as well as Production and Verification teams, to secure robust and compliant design intent; Close collaboration with other design disciplines (Functional, Mechanical, Automation, and Electrical design), as well as Production and Verification teams, to ensure that all critical requirements are gathered and implemented in the product
