What You'll Achieve.
Achieve the best contractual conditions; ensuring internal customer satisfaction; optimize total landed cost; achieve cost reduction targets; promote collaboration for continuous improvement; minimize total material costs; ensure material availability, capacity, and quality; drive accountable work culture; execute on time by getting released POs to preferred suppliers; deliver sourcing deliverables; meet the deflation year over year target; optimize total requirements; achieve plan including lead time reductions, cash enhancement, VMI etc.; maximize synergies and global suppliers
Industry & Context.
Ability and willingness to travel as required.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 8-12 years of industry experience with exposure to aviation sourcing, Automotive, Global organization., Ability and willingness to travel as required., Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously., Proficiency in supplier evaluation, selection, and relationship management., Knowledge of supply chain best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Nice to Have
Master’s / MBA degree preferred, Experience with ERP systems and sourcing tools is desirable., Experience in working with aviation global sourcing team, Ability to perform scenario analysis and strategy development, CPIM or APICS certification preferred, Green Belt / Black Belt Certified

Develop and implement sourcing strategies
Identify and qualify suppliers
Lead negotiations with suppliers
Drive cost management initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers
Proactively identify and mitigate risks
Coordinate cross-functional activities and timelines
Use of Flight Deck to drive continuous improvement
and develop strategies
Work with cross functional team members
Ensure competitive prices
Hands on experience on aviation quality system
Cost reduction strategies
Interact with site teams
Collaborate with supporting resources
Participate in Global sourcing initiatives
