Lead Software Engineer, Front End (Typescript/React, AWS) Do you love building and pioneering in the technology space? We are seeking Front End Software Engineers who are passionate about using cutting-edge open source frameworks with emerging technologies. As a Capital One Lead Software Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One. **About the Team:** The Ecommerce Platform Team is a horizontal team that builds and owns the Checkout and “My Trips” experiences within Capital One Travel. We normalize the checkout experience across all product and card teams — flights, hotels, rental cars, vacation rentals, activities and cruises — with a focus on making checkout consistent, reliable, and a positive experience for users to utilize one of the premier benefits of their credit card. You will play a central role in unifying the checkout experience across travel, designing and building a robust framework that accommodates the unique requirements of each product while presenting a cohesive experience to customers. We are looking for a frontend engineer with significant experience building large-scale, component-driven web applications.
