Bachelor's Degree, 4 years of professional software engineering experience, 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Nice to Have

Lead Software Engineer, Back End (Test Automation, Python, AWS) Do you love building and pioneering in the technology space? We are seeking **Back End Software Engineers** who are passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies. As a Capital One Software Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One. In this role, you will join a team responsible for the end-to-end testing of all Capital One credit card technology applications and their partner integrations. We are seeking a candidate with strong Software Engineering skills to design, execute, and extend automated testing capabilities across complex, integrated systems, including previously non-automated areas. You will partner closely with Engineers and Product Owners across teams to understand desired application capabilities, develop detailed test strategies, and support technical solutions across a full-stack environment. Beyond writing automated test cases for business-critical requirements, you will manage test execution between external partners, third-party vendors, and internal teams, while assisting with test data conditioning.
