About the Role Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We’re looking for a talented Sales Engineering Specialist - Security to join our global sales engineering specialist team. As a Sales Engineering Specialist focused on Security, you will work closely with our sales and field sales engineering teams to satisfy customers’ security needs. You will be responsible for providing timely responses to security questionnaires, engaging in customer-facing infosec calls, and collaborating with our internal SRE and Product teams focused on ensuring Fivetran’s platform security. This is a full-time remote position based in Ireland. Technologies You’ll Use In this role, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of the following technologies: Fivetran's data integration platform, deployment methods, and security features Cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform Security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, data loss prevention systems, and encryption Containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, and familiarity with hybrid and self-hosted deployment models Security and Data Privacy Compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, HITRUST and GDPR What You’ll Do Support our sales and field sales engineering teams with deep technical knowledge and understanding of Fivetran’s internal security operations, related platform features, and the security domain Deliver timely and accurate responses to prospect and customer security questionnaires utilizing
