Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist, Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training program in an AMA approved registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), one year of experience in applicable modality OR A minimum of 6 months of technical experience in the applicable modality AND previous leadership experience OR equivalent education/experience

Understands and complies with all safety

**Job Description** **Harborview Medical Center – Radiology** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Lead Radiology Technologist.** **WORK SCHEDULE** * Full-Time / 40 hours per week * Day shift **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** * This position will focus on the Diagnostic Imaging modality * This individual reports to department Imaging Supervisor and/or Manager and regularly assigns, instructs, and checks the work of employees * This position routinely works as a technologist and mentors new staff, develops and presents in-services, creates daily schedules, and coordinates flow of patients **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** **Advanced diagnostic imaging, specialized clinical expertise.** Radiology Services at Harborview Medical Center offers a full complement of radiology tests and imaging procedures, including nuclear medicine and interventional radiology (angiography). **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** * Regularly assigns, instructs, and checks the work of employees. * Performs duties of the appropriate Imaging Technologies in assigned area. * Functions as a preceptor.
