Full Job Description
*This role is open to remote or hybrid candidates (East Coast preference), with hybrid being central to our New York, NY or Charlotte area offices. Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time hours. As a Lead Product Manager, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for a cross-functional team working across two high-priority growth areas: building deeper authenticated, personalized experiences that help consumers discover and qualify for the right financial products across mortgage, desposits, credit cards, and beyond — and bringing our market-leading mortgage marketplace to realtors as a premier referral channel. Together, these two surfaces represent a meaningful expansion of how Bankrate serves consumers at the moments that matter most. This role leads end-to-end product strategy with direct people management. You will manage product managers and lead a cross-functional squad of engineers and designers. You will set a 12–24 month product vision that drives impactful financial outcomes for consumers — whether through a more personalized, authenticated product experience or through a realtor-referred mortgage journey. This is a high-speed, high-impact role operating in a start-up type environment where speed to learning is key. What You'll Do: Build Deeper Authenticated Consumer Experiences: Lead the vision and execution for personalized, authenticated journeys across financial products — including mortgage qualification flows, saved preferences, cross-product recommendations, and tailored matching — that meaningfully increase consumer confidence, engagement depth, and return visits. Own the Realtor Entry Strategy: Define the end-to-end product vision for how realtors interact with our mortgage marketplace, expanding our platform beyond a consumer-only approach and unlocking a significant new referral channel for lenders.
