It is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians, providing human service needs for special populations including individuals who are deaf, blind, developmentally disabled, and mentally ill, and helping poor North Carolinians achieve economic independence. **Description of Work** This position is part of the Director's Office Policy Team and collaborates with all sections within the Division. The primary purpose of this position to assist in providing fiscal, policy, regulatory and legislative analysis for DCDEE in order to plan for agency/DCDEE program needs. The position also provides policy planning and coordination with the NC Child Care Commission. A key responsibility for this position is to provide supervision to policy team members. **Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences** Salary Range: $63,927 - $111,871 Recruitment Range: $63,927 - $80,827 _Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement._ _The Knowledge Skills and Abilities/ Management Preferences are not required.
