What They're Looking For.
Must Have
8+ years of extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments, expertise in Terraform for Azure infrastructure provisioning, Proven experience with Ansible Automation or equivalent configuration management tools, Deep understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and platform engineering practices, Advanced knowledge of Azure services including networking, compute, storage, and identity, scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python), Experience with Git-based workflows and collaborative development practices
Nice to Have
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience, 8-10 years of experience in cloud, platform, or DevOps engineering roles, Experience working in large, complex, or regulated enterprise environments, Azure Landing Zones and enterprise-scale architecture, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and observability tooling, AKS and container-based platforms, Knowledge of Azure security, governance, and compliance frameworks, Relevant certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, Terraform)
What You'll Do.
Lead the design and development of enterprise Azure platform architecture
Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using Terraform and Azure-native tools
Develop and maintain automation using Ansible
and scripting languages
and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Azure platform and infrastructure deployments
Implement and enforce Azure governance using Management Groups
Collaborate with Security and Risk teams to integrate compliance
and security controls
Provide technical leadership
and mentorship to platform and DevOps engineers
Enable application teams through reusable modules
and self-service capabilities
and continuously improve Azure platform reliability and performance
